USS Aaron Ward (DD-483) was a Gleaves-class destroyer US Navy. Sank on April 7, 1943 Florida Islands north of Guadalcanal. Discovered on 4 September 1994. 2,060 tons, 106m long, 35 knots max speed, Compliment 4 x 5" DP guns, 4 x 40mm AA guns, 5 x 20mm AA guns, 5 x 21" torpedo tubes, 6 x depth charge projectors and 2 x depth charge tracks.
